Berlin Today

This morning we decided to look at a more modern side of Berlin - since the older part of town ("under the linden") was all just recreations of buildings not much older than the 1800s anyway (if that!).

This took us to the Sony Center, a vast pavilion of glass with a huge central atrium covered in even more glass. Here is a picture of the dome. Can you spot the person cleaning it? Hint: he's very, very small.

On the whole, quite hard to photograph though, because of the size. I guess you'll just have to go see it yourself!

It was a very nice space to sit and contemplate, however, as you can see below.
